Club 77 Launches new Weekly 22 Hour Party starting August 25th

Club 77 reveals a new weekly 22 hour Sunday club night featuring a diverse program of local and international artists with a focus on self expression and cultivating a safe community space.

Club 77 is restructuring a longtime favourite of the local club scene, 'Sundays at 77, evolving the night into a 22 hour party running from 6am Sunday to 4am Monday. An exploration into the diverse and inclusive world of electronic music and the culture in which it exists. Centred around community, Club 77 provides a safe and inclusive space for all to express themselves, dance, connect and be inspired. A space that platforms marginalised communities, giving space to those who identify as First Nations, queer, BIPOC and FLINTA.

The diverse programming demonstrates an ongoing commitment to this vision, continuing to develop and foster the local electronic music culture on a weekly basis. Club 77 invites local, interstate and international DJs, artists and live performers to their basement sanctuary. With an open-ended music policy, no limitations are placed on the artists, allowing them to play whatever they like. This freedom of expression provides an opportunity for forward thinking and genre boundary pushing music.

The debut 6 weeks of this program includes an all-star cast of local up-and-comers and established legends with a little bit of something for everyone. Ranging from house, techno,breaks, prog, tek, trance and dub. Sounds that are deep and drivey, warm and vibey, bright and bouncy and those that defy definition all together. Championing the rich and colourful sound Australia has become so known for.

With a 6am start, Sundays at 77 provides an after-hours experience for industry, hospo workers and community, filling a much needed gap in the nightlife landscape and re-invigorating the 24 hour nightlife culture in Eora / Sydney. Transforming the current nightlife offering and bringing it in line with other global nightlife cities such as Berlin, London, Amsterdam and NYC, marking a new era of club culture in Eora / Sydney.
