After months of extensive infrastructure upgrades, the party institution you know and love is back with the same quality house and techno, same inclusive vibes and grungy atmosphere, but reimagined as a cutting-edge dancefloor experience unlike anything Australian clubbers have witnessed before.
Club 77 is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated return to Sydney nightlife this month with an epic relaunch party locked in for Thursday 30 July, headlined by scene stalwarts and sound assaulters Rydeen and SOVBLKPSSY.

Club music technicians Rydeen & SOVBLKPSSY come together in warehouse raves and queer late night spaces. Following 2025 appearances @ Dark Mofo, Soft Centre, Absorbed and NTS Radio, the duo continue to produce and perform organic rave music, exploring the regional club sound of syd city. Rydeen is a producer, DJ and radio host based on Wangal / Gadigal. Ry’swork extends outside the club, as a host of Sunset on FBi Radio and through releases on LA’s JUKE BOUNCE WERK and Sydney imprint TRACKWORK. SOVBLKPSSY is a Ngarrindjeri DJ, producer and radio host on Saturday Sunset on FBI radio. She is currently based on Gadigal and Wangal land.

Spearheaded by Kristie Paul of Inochi Design Life, Club 77’s progressive redesign places accessibility for people with disability at its forefront. Upgrades include an accessible entrance with a wheelchair lift, 1.5 metres of wheelchair turning space throughout the venue, an accessible bar with a lowered countertop, and accessible bathroom facilities featuring unisex, disabled and ambulant toilets. Haptic vests will also be available on-site, offering Deaf and hard of hearing patrons an immersive new way to experience live music.
The DJ booth has also been redesigned to accommodate artists with disability and is now fully retractable, allowing the space to transform into a stage for future live performances. On the sound front, 77’s renowned KV2 Audio system remains, enhanced by acclaimed engineer Mickey Levis to deliver that deliciously chunky sound. Visually, patrons can expect upgraded production featuring cutting-edge lighting and LED screens by ISLX founder Ian Scott, whose work has illuminated some of the country’s biggest music events including the Big Day Out festival.
This exciting new chapter would not have been possible without the sponsorship of Sound NSW and vital consultation and support from Electronic Music Conference (EMC), Night Time Industries Association (NTIA), Green Music Australia and Transenergy director Sophie Forrest.

Join us for our relaunch party with Rydeen and SOVBLKPSSY on Thursday 30 July at Club 77 from 6pm — 3am.
