Cassius Select returns to Eora where his career begun a decade ago

Lavurn, best known for his project Cassius Select, is a producer deeply connected to Eora, where he launched his electronic music career over a decade ago. Renowned for his distinct voice in dance music, Lavurn has released productions on labels such as Banoffee Pies, Raw Basics, and Bruk Records and collaborated with vocalists like VV Pete.

Cassius Select is known and loved for his engaging, hard-hitting rhythms crafted specially for the club. His tracks blend layered, percussive, drum-driven beats with distorted vocals and hip-hop/R&B samples, designed to heat up the dance floor and get the crowd moving.

Lavurn is a versatile artist whose talents span electronic production and singer-songwriter work. In 2024, he released his self-titled debut album, LAVURN, an indie-R&B pop project marked by textured melancholy and introspection. The album, reflecting on heartbreak, showcases his musical range created during his time living in Toronto, Berlin, and Hong Kong, a thoughtful edition to his extensive catalog of music.
